As a result of the restrictions imposed due to Covid-19 we are having to make some changes within the office.
The office will remain open with a skeleton staff; however we would ask clients to contact the office on 01236 822728 if they intend to come into the office, this will help us ensure that we can adhere to the social distancing requirements.
All remaining staff will be working from home with emails being the main point of contact – if you don’t know or are unsure of who your contact is or do not have the email address of the person dealing with your bookkeeping (VAT/CIS), payroll, accounts or tax (self-assessment/corporation) affairs please contact the office today as a matter of urgency to obtain the necessary information.
PAYE and VAT information is still required to be submitted therefore we need you to continue to provide us with the relevant information.
For PAYE the best method of contact is via email.
For VAT the provision of information electronically is the preferred option. If this is not possible then please post the information (preferably by recorded delivery to enable you to track the whereabouts). If you need to physically hand the paperwork in, we would ask that you contact the office to let us know prior to doing so. Pick-up of paperwork can also be arranged, please contact the office to discuss.
Accounting and taxation deadlines also remain in force and as such we will continue to contact you to request paperwork to enable the continuation of these processes. As above we would ask that, where possible, the information is sent electronically. If this is not possible then please post the information (preferably by recorded delivery to enable you to track the whereabouts). If you need to physically hand the paperwork in we would ask that you contact the office to let us know prior to doing so. Pick-up of paperwork can also be arranged, please contact the office to discuss.
If you have accounts due for submission this month (your financial year runs July – June) we will be applying for a special dispensation with Companies House to enable submission of the accounts at a later date with no risk of financial penalties being issued.
We appreciate and value your custom and continued support and, as always, we aim to offer the high level of service that we pride ourselves on, however, these are unprecedented and challenging times and while we will strive to ensure that all work is completed accurately and on time, as staff navigate the complexities and difficulties incurred in carrying out their roles from home we would ask for your patience and understanding.
